We tend to take screenshots a lot. If it is a dank meme you want to save for later or any important stuff that you think you’ll need later. You will also get a notification on the status bar and on the lock screen too. this is not that big of a deal. Disable Screenshot Notification on Android 9

Android 9 looks beautiful. The blur on the background after you take a screenshot is pretty pleasing to look at. But it gets annoying if you take a number of screenshots in a small period of time. Follow the steps below to disable screenshot notification on Android 9;

Step 1: First, you need to take a screenshot. Use the button combination for your device to take a screenshot.

Step 2: Pull down the notification bar.

Step 3: Slide the screenshot notification to the right. Do not slide completely.  You will see some options.

 

Step 4: Tap on the gear icon.

Step 5: Select Stop notification option. You are done. Now you will not be bothered with the screenshot notification pop up every time you take a screenshot.

Enable Screenshot Notification on Android 9

Enabling screenshot notification back again has a different process. You will need to get in deep into Android’s settings. This also works for Android 8. Follow the steps below;

Step 1: Open Settings.

Step 2: Tap on Apps & notifications.

Step 3: Tap on See all apps.

Step 4: Tap on the 3-dot menu.

Step 5: Choose Show system.

Step 6: Scroll down till you find System UI.

Step 7: Select Notifications.

Step 8: There you will find a bunch of options. Check the box next to Screenshots. This is it. You will get screenshot notification again.
